Burnsville Elementary School was recognized by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction for implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention and Support at an Exemplar level, the highest honor given by PBIS. BES PBIS team members are Claudia Ray, Steven Grindstaff, Renee Duncan, Cheryl Renfro, Crystal Marsh, Leeann Beam, Julie Miller, Sarah Delcourt, and Holly Houchard.

5th Grade Celebration
Family and friends of Burnsville Elementary 5th grade students are invited to attend a special program honoring our 5th grade students on
Thursday May 30, 2013.  The celebration will begin in the gym at 9:30 am.
School lunch will be served in the cafeteria immediately following the celebration.  Adult lunche is $3.25 and child lunch is $1.85.  
Please RSVP how many adults and children(not including your 5th grader) will be eating in the school cafeteria by May 30, 2013
with your child's teacher.
